Do I need a deed to play?

No. Farming opens to everyone after Stage One. Deeds let you stake, build a Fert Deck and make Fertilizer. Want one? Founding Deeds trade on OpenSea. See Founding Deeds.

Does staking cost anything?

No. Only gas. Building a Fert Deck costs 0.01 ETH at launch.

Can I sell a staked deed?

No. Unstake it first. Unstaking destroys its structure, and any unclaimed Fertilizer goes into your Bag for you.

Can I unstake while the game is paused?

No. You can unstake again as soon as it resumes.

Do I earn $YIELD or ETH for staking right now?

Not yet. Staked deeds are lined up for deed rewards, ██████████ and the Silo. Additional rewards for deed owners will be launched when the farming game launches.

Does a higher rarity produce more?

Yes. Fert Deck output scales with Fertility, from 5 for a Common to 9 for a Mythic.

What happens if I don't claim my Fertilizer?

Your deck stops producing once its storage is full, at 3 days of production.

Can I trade Fertilizer?

Yes. Export it to your wallet first. See Fertilizer.

Does Fertilizer expire?

No. Stock up whenever you like.

Do I need $YIELD to play?

No. You pay for everything in ETH. $YIELD is only a reward.

Will I make money farming?

Farming isn't a guaranteed profit.

Should I sell to the Farmer or the Broker?

The Farmer if you want to hold $YIELD, since it pays more. The Broker if you want ETH. See Growing and selling.

Are the odds fair?

Yes. Every pack is tied to a future draw from drand, a public randomness source. The result is fixed before anyone can see it, and anyone can check it.

What stops people from dumping $YIELD?

The sell tax rises during heavy selling, and the extra goes to the Farmers Co-op. At launch, a high buy tax that drops over time stops bots from sniping the opening price.

Does the team hold $YIELD?

The team got 0% of the supply.

How do I spot a scam?

Check every link and address against Official links and contracts. The team will never DM you first.

Are the numbers final?

No. Current rates and fees are shown in the app, and every change is logged in Patch notes.

Why are some numbers blacked out?
