Growing and selling
In short: Plant seeds in your free farm plot, harvest when they're ripe, then sell to the Farmer for $YIELD or the Broker for ETH.
note
Everything in Yield Fields is subject to change, including these numbers and mechanics. We'll give players ample notice before any change.
note
Farming opens after Stage One. Exact grow times and fees go live with it.

Your farm plot

A grid of slots, free for every wallet. Each slot holds 1 crop at a time
There are no plot expansions, and you don't need a deed to farm
Other players can visit your plot and see what you're growing
Growing
From ███ to ███ hours, with a live countdown in the game
Rarer crops take longer, and bigger packs grow faster
Fertilizer cuts 25% of the grow time each, up to 2 per crop. Use it from your Bag. See Fertilizer
Ripe crops never wilt, so harvest on your own schedule
Harvesting
Harvest 1 crop or everything ripe at once. Harvested crops go to your Bag, ready to sell.
note
Selling
Farmer ($YIELD)

Pays ███% of the crop's value in $YIELD, straight to your wallet
Buys $YIELD for you on the official pool and skips the buy tax, so every Farmer sale is a $YIELD buy
The app shows a quote first. If the price moves past it, the sale stops instead of paying you less
Broker (ETH)

Pays ███% of the crop's value in ETH, from the ETH that pack sales bring into the Cornhub
Which one?
The Farmer pays more and charges lower Co-op Dues, so it's the better deal if you plan to hold $YIELD. The Broker is the simplest way to get ETH, since selling to the Farmer and then selling the $YIELD nets less.
Whichever you pick, the fee is Co-op Dues, and it goes to the Farmers Co-op. See How the Farmers Co-op works.
Next, $YIELD.
