Seeds and crops
In short: Buy seed packs at the Cornhub with ETH. Each pack holds 1 random seed. Every pack has the same odds, and bigger packs hold more valuable crops.
note
Everything in Yield Fields is subject to change, including these numbers and mechanics. We'll give players ample notice before any change.
note
Farming opens after Stage One. Exact prices, odds and values go live with it.

Fair randomness
Every pack is tied to a future draw from drand, a public randomness source. The result is fixed before anyone can see it, and anyone can check it afterwards.
tip
Bigger packs grow faster for the ETH you put in. Splitting ETH across lots of small packs never beats 1 bigger pack.
