Fertilizer
In short: Fertilizer makes crops grow faster, and it never expires. Keep it in your Bag to use, or export it to your wallet and sell it to farmers on OpenSea.

What Fertilizer does
Each Fertilizer cuts 25% of a crop's total grow time
Use up to 2 per crop, for 50%
Use one with less than a quarter of the time left and the crop ripens at once
It's used up when applied
It never expires
Only Fert Decks make it, so every farmer who wants faster harvests gets it from deed holders.
Trading it
Claim Fertilizer from your Fert Deck. It goes to your Bag.
Export it from your Bag. This mints it to your wallet as an onchain item.
Trade it on OpenSea, like any other item.
Import it back into your Bag when you want to use it in the game.
Export is live as soon as staking opens. Items in your wallet can't be used in the game until you import them.
