$YIELD
In short: $YIELD is the reward token of Yield Fields. Farmers earn it from the Farmer, deed holders earn it from the land, and its trading taxes feed the Farmers Co-op. You never need it to play.
note
Everything in Yield Fields is subject to change, including these numbers and mechanics. We'll give players ample notice before any change.

Trading
Taxes: ███% on buys and ███% on sells. No LP fee, so the tax is the only cost of a trade
Heavy selling: once net selling passes a set level, the sell tax climbs to a hard cap, then eases back over time. Buys cancel out sells, and splitting a sale doesn't avoid it
Launch protection: right after trading opens, buys pay a much higher tax that falls steadily back to normal, so bots can't snipe the opening price
Where taxes go: regular taxes are split between the Farmers Co-op and the deeds' Root Cellars, with a small cut to the team. The heavy-selling extra all goes to the Farmers Co-op. The launch tax goes to a wallet set by the team, and 100% of it is put back into the game
Limits: the tax caps are hard-coded. The team can never raise them
Built on URC-5
$YIELD uses URC-5, the Token Venue Policy standard built by The Standard Reserve and now part of Uniswap's URC repository.
1 official pool. $YIELD declares its official Uniswap v4 pool onchain and blocks copycat pools
Every trade counts. All trading runs through that pool, so taxes and rewards always apply
Smooth routing. Wallets and routers read the policy onchain and route trades to the right place
